WEVE

WEVE (위브) is the official name of ONEWE's fandom.

Name[]

Former fandom name[]

On November 9, 2016, under the band's original name M.A.S 0094, their fandom name was announced on their 100-day debut anniversary to be L🌸VER. The fandom name was personally chosen by the members from fan submissions.

In itself, L🌸VER means loved one,
while MAS' official color, pastel lilac, means the first love in the language of flowers.
"If the fans are the first love of MAS, MAS hope they can be the fans last love." MAS' hearts are filled by this meaning.
We hope that MAS and L🌸VER can love each other for a very long time.

Modern Music^[1]

While this fandom name was no longer officially used following the band's rebranding to ONEWE under RBW, the flower emoji (🌸) continues to be used by the fandom as a representative symbol.

Current fandom name[]

On May 13, 2020, the band's first anniversary since their re-debut as ONEWE, their fandom's new name was announced to be WEVE; as such the band and fandom share May 13 as their joint anniversary.

The name "WEVE" is taken from the last part of ONEWE's group name, ONEWE (원위) combined with the last part of the word 'move', MOVE (무브), and contains the dual meaning for ONEWE and WEVE to 1) move forward together and 2) move each other's hearts.^[2]

Alongside the announcement, the members prepared gifts for WEVE including a painting by Harin and Dong Myeong^[3]^[4] and self-composed songs by Yong Hoon^[5], Kang Hyun (feat. Yong Hoon)^[6] and Giuk, the last of which was titled "WEVE" and released on Giuk's SoundCloud^[7].

ONEWE and WEVE also combine their names to create a joint group-fandom name ONEWEVE (원위브).

Lightstick[]

M.A.S 0094 lightstick[]

M.A.S 0094 lightstick was released on November 4, 2016 for the band's MASLAND concert.^[8]

ONEWE lightstick[]

ONEWE's official lightstick was revealed on March 18, 2024.^[9] Pre-orders opened from March 19, 2024 at 3PM (KST) until April 9, 2024 at 3PM (KST).

The lightstick is sold direct through RBW's online store Bizent.

Design[]

The lightstick was designed since 2023 and the members themselves were all involved in process and deciding on the final design.^[10]^[11]

ONEWE's lightstick features a little astronaut, representing them as the space band (우주 밴드) as they have become known thanks to their space series (우주 시리즈), songs and albums written by the band about various concepts related to the universe. On opposite sides of the astronaut's helmet, the ONEWE and WEVE official logos can be seen.

In addition to its three standard light options (white on, white blink and white flicker), the lightstick also comes with the ability to switch between five colored lights, matching each of the members' representative colors:

Red for Yong Hoon
Purple for Kang Hyun
Green for Harin
Yellow for Dong Myeong
Blue for Giuk.

The lightstick also has a Bluetooth feature for central control of the lights when attending concerts.

There is an official fanclub membership for WEVEs, which offers special privileges to registered members.

Colors[]

As M.A.S 0094, the band's official colors were announced on October 24, 2016 to be: Pastel Lilac and Snow White.^[12] Since rebranding as ONEWE, these colors are no longer used in any official capacity. No new official fandom colors have been announced.
